Laura Lima is the founder and owner of New Age Healthcare & Wellness. Laura is a board certified Adult Acute Care and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner with a subspecialty in Cardiology. She has worked in the healthcare industry for over 2 decades, beginning her career as a certified nursing assistant at a local nursing home. She went on to receive her BSN from St. Anselm College of Nursing in 2003.

After working as a bedside nurse, leader, and preceptor on a Cardiac Unit, she earned her Masters degree with honors from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2012. She worked as a Pulmonary/Critical Care Nurse Practitioner until she found her passion in Vascular Surgery. She went on to receive her certification in both Injectable Neuromodulators and Dermal Fillers.

Laura is the recipient of a local Community Award for precepting Nurse Practitioner students. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her bloodhound Penny.

Amanda is a board certified Registered Nurse.  She started her career in healthcare over 13 years ago working as a certified medical assistant.  After taking a position in the emergency department of her community hospital Amanda fell in love with emergency medicine and decided to advance her education and graduated from NEIT in 2018.  She is currently working as a bedside nurse in her local emergency department, where she feels honored to serve her friends, family, and community.  In early 2022 Amanda obtained her certificate in dermal fillers and injectable neuromodulators.

When she is not working she can be found enjoying quality time with her husband and daughter.  Amanda comes from a large Portuguese family and enjoys gardening and cooking for her family.

Michelle Telfair is a board certified Registered Nurse. She started her career over 2 decades ago as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1998. After 10 years, she decided to advance her degree and graduated from Cape Cod Community College in 2008. She continues to work as a bedside nurse on a Progressive Care Unit at a local community hospital. After developing an interest in beauty and wellness, she went on to receive her certificate in Injectable Neuromodulators and Dermal Fillers.

In her spare time, she enjoy s spending time with her family and friends.

Patricia Baptiste NP

Patricia Baptiste is a board certified Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a subspecialty in Critical Care. She received her BSN with honors from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 2001 and started her career as an ICU nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital. After working in Boston for over 8 years, she returned to the Southcoast, working as a bedside Cardiothoracic ICU Nurse at a local Community Hospital.

 She went on to receive her MSN with honors from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2014. Patricia has many years of surgical experience in both General and Vascular Surgery. She went on to receive her certificate in both Injectable Neuromodulators and Dermal Fillers and joins New Age Healthcare & Wellness with a great amount of experience. 

In her spare time, Patricia enjoys running marathons and spending time with family and friends.

Leann Swanson is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She started her career in healthcare as a phlebotomist in 1994, after attending Anna Maria College. She went on to advance her skillset to include massage therapy in 2000 from the Central Mass School of Massage. Her commitment to her clients and passion to help others made the decision to become a Registered Nurse an easy one. She graduated from the Cape Cod Community College for Nursing in 2007.

After working as a bedside nurse in both the Intensive Care Unit and Progressive Care Units, she earned her MSN from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science in 2015. Since then, she has worked in a fast paced Urgent Care setting. She went on to receive her certification in both injectable Neuromodulators and Dermal Fillers and joins our team with a great amount of experience.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and escaping to her home in Vermont.
